Winter Semester Begins at the Institute for Law and Finance (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt)

Today marks the start of the course “Nuts and Bolts of M&A” at the Institute for Law and Finance, Goethe University Frankfurt.

I am pleased to be co-teaching this course alongside Patrick Kenadjian, Senior Counsel at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where we will guide students through the legal and practical foundations of mergers and acquisitions.

During the 13 sessions, students will be guided step by step through the key stages, including the motivations of buyers and sellers, key agreements, due diligence process, the choice of transaction form, the signing and closing process and many more legal and economic topics.

The course brings together legal, financial, and strategic perspectives, and I look forward to engaging with a highly motivated and international group of students.
